Thompson County Park

A gem of Dakota County . Water fowl and birds are always commonplace. Gorgeous lake and shoreline maintained by the county . Hiking trails a fishing pier and the Dakota Lodge is a great event center.

This is part of the north urban regional trail . You can cross the pedestrian bridge and go over to kaposia park or keep going to reach the Mississippi river trail head

Great walking trails ,picnic areas and a nice big playground for the kids!

Good park . There is something for all ages. There are baby swings and small slides for small people.

Don't stand to long under some of the trees , there is a protective squirrel mom there and she can get vocal.

Good place for Family Photos

Come early morning for the squirrel gymnastics and the hunting hawks.

Came face to face with a wolf on the trails .

Chipmunk yoga was fun to participate in.
