This place is absolutely beautiful! It's a huge park with a beach near by and a stunning nature sanctuary. One of my favorite parks in the Minneapolis area.
They have some great educational tour for bird watching , plants, and more. Check the website or go to visitors building for daily schedule.
This is the oldest public wildflower garden in the US. In 1907 Eloise Butler & 3 botany teachers successfully petitioned the Park Board to create a natural botanic garden to preserve native flora.
This is a beautiful garden . Wander to the farther back areas to escape the crowd.
Stop in the shelter for information about what's blooming, bird and plant id'img, and general friendliness!
