Start the ride by getting your art on at Bass Museum of Art . Both inspiring and educating the museum explores the connections between their historical collections and contemporary art .
My first art museum in Miami. They had a mummy corpse. Enough said... They also had cool things made out of gold or fake gold, I don't know, but it was cool.
Must attend "Beats After Sunset " on the first Friday of every month! Sip on some drinks while you enjoy the surrounding art and even indulge in some delicious food on the terrace .
Includes European paintings from the 15th through the early 20th centuries, with special emphasis on northern European art of the Renaissance and baroque periods, including Dutch and Flemish masters.
Don't leave without seeing the outdoor arrangement of contemporary sculptures in bronze, steel, fiberglass and vivid polyester resin or checking out special temporary exhibits . Read more
Given what was able to be viewed at the Bass museum the $3.75 parking fee on the street made the trip . If I had seen a collection of Bass shoes that would've been better
"Beats After Sunset " is a great event held here on the 1st Friday of every month. Complimentary drinks at the bar , but get there early, the bar gets full very easily and you may have to wait a while.
Open until 10pm the last Wednesday of the month. Free admission the last Sunday of the month.
Really creative and we'll thought out exhibits and the grounds are beautiful
Several hours of strollin' the museum has you tired and hungry? Ask for our Mustang Sally burger and you'll be all better!
Love the new mural !
you must not take a picture, no photo.... but is great.
my favorite museum on the beach
Beats after sunset , first Friday of the month
Service is pretty poor here, we ordered extra shampoo twice and both times it took around an hour for it to turn up. The hotel is run down and lacks any real atmosphere compared to the fountain blue.
Great cultural center .. take it in! Dennis Mancino
The building is very interesting!
Does not worth the ticket price. Quite unremarkable space. Currently there is only one cool instalation.
