$10 parking . Get the Empire State Park pass for $65 if you are a NYS Park regular. RM is less massive than Jones. Field 2 is a short walk to the beach . Enjoy!

Field 5 has a rather extensive nude section, so not recommended for families and the squeamish. Lovely Montauk lighthouse is worth the trip.

The beach was really very good. I enjoyed it better than any of the beaches I've been to this summer

Field 5: $10 parking fee, big waves , shower stalls with no doors, cleanish bathrooms , food court was closed, but there was an ice cream truck and a tacos truck . Water did not look as clean as expected

the "sweet spot" is between the last lifeguard post and the lighthouse ... calm waves , less people
