The Spicy Buradi comes with either chicken or lamb , but we endorse the latter, which stands up well against the not-too-spicy mint-habanero sauce that moistens the wrap sandwich .
The veggie biryani and the veggie Kati rolls are amazing. Delicately flavored potato sauce just adds that pump to the whole dish. Gd stuff,be prepared for the long long… (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Try two kathi rolls ($6). "Fillings include chicken , lamb or vegetarian , but communication is rocky, so what you get may be a surprise. As long as you can take some spice, it’s all good." Read more
Chicken n lamb Kati rolls are the bomb; biryani is pretty solid. Try the sampler combo of Kati roll , samosa n chicken biryani
Best food cart in NYC. Its miles away from my place but still I visit 3-4 times in a month. Staff is very friendly .
The kati rolls—burrito-esque wraps with spicy fillings—are the thing to get at this Indian meat-over-rice cart.
Everything is outstanding- one of the best Indian restaurants in NYC and its in a truck !
my standard lunch combo is 1 king koti , 1 chennai ; little spicy , little sweet. just saying kati roll will get you a pune, and that generic stuff is for lunch tourists !
Had chicken biryani (gotta get it spicy and white white sauce ) and it was delicious, but now I need a coffee because I am about to pass out at my desk.
King Koti Roll ! Spicy chicken tikka marinated in yogurt and spices on a chapati roll. The perfect midtown snack .
they seem to've removed all menu signage, so you better already know what you want and how much it should cost
The Spicy Buradi roll is one of the best things I've ever eaten on a sidewalk.
Biryani is fine too but Kati rolls is what really makes it worth a visit
Had the veg biryani , surprised that its called a biryani . Tastes similar to rice served in other food carts . Taste wise was not bad, but I would not venture out to call it a biryani .
Ask for the JAC combo. Gets u biryani , Kati roll and samosa . Good deals .
Biriyani is -okay- but katti Roles are so good .... best katti roles ever
Spicy burata Kati roll is the way to go. But beware of the heat.
Great flavor in the chicken but the rice is plain and underwhelming compared to TriniPaki Boys a few books over
Reminds of food carts in Kolkata and the biriyani is fab! Loved it!
street cart version of Bangladeshi food .. which isn't as good as the real thing but good enough to please the masses
If you come here often you will hear "TIKKA TIKKA CHICK NOVA RICE " in your dreams.
The Kati Roll is delicious, and only $3. But ask for extra napkins, because Mr. Biryani Guy isn't very good at closing them. Still worth it, though.
One of the most delicious street vendor's in the city ! Order from Biryani Cart online at foodtoeat.com
The spicy buradi roll is where it's at
Lunchtime is chaos. Buy whatever prepared plate or kati rolls they give you otherwise you'll be in for a long wait
Our favorite is the Chennai roll. (Sweet + Sour + Spicy ) And just as a warning, the lamb is just generic gyro meat . Read more
Most delicious at 1AM.
The best is the lamb kati roll , Spicy Buradi style. Chennai style is too sweet.
Lamb kati roll , tastes like the famous halal cart but in a more manageable portion and in a delicious wrapper. Chicken Tikka masala kati roll was not so good.
