Delicious soba for such a great price! A must-try. The store lies between Keiseiueno and JR Ueno.
Surprisingly good soba noodles and the price was pretty low.
変わり種の蕎麦 シリーズの、フォアグラ エスプーマもり(¥980)。北海道産キタワセソバの実を使った蕎麦 粉100%のおそば と、泡状のフォアグラ をもり汁にのせたフランス・ペリゴール産のフォアグラ エスプーマの組合せ。味もくどくなく、予想に反してさっぱりと美味しくいただけました。八幡屋磯五郎の山椒 を加えると、風味も増します。17:00まではアルコール が生ビール しかないのが残念(>_< )
ここのお蕎麦屋さん はTVを観ていて美味しそうだったので行ってみたくなりいつしか上野に行くとつい寄ってしまうお蕎麦屋さん です????そのあとに湯島天満宮に行くのが暗黙の了解になってます。
フォアグラ エスプーマもり(980円 )は胡麻 汁そば に動物性成分を混ぜたような味で、それ程違和感なく食べれます。八幡屋磯五郎の山椒 が付いてきますが、意外と相性が良いのでビックリします。

Great fast and cheap spot, with good udon and tempura. Expect old school vibes (as in not renovated, not retro) and eating standing up/on bar stools. Order from the machine, plenty of English signs. - Zsuzsanna Miklósi
Tempura soba which is topped 2 prawn tempura on soba bowl is the most popular. But if you want to save money, Tenzan which is topped 1 prawn tempura and spring onion can be alternative choices. - Fuyuhiko Takaya
