Wunderbares Erholungsgebiet
Der 1936/37 angelegte Damm sollte eigentlich einen Wasserflugplatz eingrenzen. Neben Radlern und Wanderern lieben heute auch Vögel das unter Naturschutz stehende Rantum-Becken als Brut- u. Rastgebiet.
