The master of all Tahoe resorts . It's pricey (unless you've got a pass) but this mountain really rocks. Amazing views , long runs and long lines , but worth the wait. Be sure to hit up Granite Chief !

Some of the most interesting terrain in Tahoe plus good restaurants and bars for apres ski . Expensive but I usually buy discounted lift tickets at REI or Sports Basement .

Contrary to popular belief it is possible to barge the line at KT-22 on a powder day. Just bring a huge set of cajones and be prepared to throw elbows.
Dawn Patrol is a must do. Best day ever was 3/6/11. 21" of fresh powder , blasting face shots down Granite Chief 30 minutes before the first lift even goes up, and huge breakfast atop the mountain .
