Do not like onion rings BUT always have two orders of them here! So crunchy & perfectly cut. Tried hotdog for the first time. Liked it better than cheeseburger . Lemon poppy seed muffin is soo tasty!

If you don't get cheese fries every time you come here, you're doing it wrong. As someone from Chicago, I am truly thankful for Portillos.

Great burger and onion rings ! Totally laid back , loud and family friendly ! Tons of awesome stuff to look at throughout the restaurant . Airy and fun atmosphere !

The food is good, but you may need pepto after you're finished. Ambience & decor is unlike any restaurant in AZ. Unique. The Italian Beef was good, but dry. Add Mozzarella ! Try the Chicago dog !

It's the McDonalds of Chicago-Style (Mainly for fake Chicagoans from Schaumburg & Berwyn) but there's slim pickings in AZ, so I'm trying it. There is also a Luke's & Al's Beef nearby at Raintree @ 101

Every sandwich should be a dipped sandwich if possible. Also get the amazing cake shake , amazing, I think I said amazing!

Can't go wrong with the Italian beef or the hot dogs and definitely get the Chocolate cake shake !

Don't listen to the haters - Lukes in AZ is overpriced and a shell of its former self- and Als is good, but different And more $$$$. Portillos has GREAT food, selection and prices!

Don't let the transplants from Naperville try 2 fool you, there is actually only 1 location in Chicago, & it is a tourist trap like Uno & Due. Good food, but its the McDonalds of Chicago-Style

Damn good Italian beef ! I've been to Al's...Portillos is better. And FYI the breads supposed to be soggy if its dipped in gravy :)

Had the Italian Beef with hot peppers . Kinda bland (good thing I ordered the hot peppers .) if I had to do it again I would definitely add the nuclear orange cheese sauce to add some flavor. Overrated.

Good dog..... I was here on a Wednesday exactly @ noon.... Place was packed in ate and out under 30mins.....

No bueno...I've tried it multiple times, I've given it too many chances and can never get a meal above avg...which is a shame because the service and management are good...good service of bland food
