There is a port with fast boats to transfer you to nusa lembongan and other places as well . Low tide can be tricky, you need to walk a bit on shallow water to get onto boat. Wear suitable clothes

Sanur is a small port and passengers will need to soak feet on water upon departure. It is also an option to directly book a ferry ride at the port and find a local driver upon reaching Nusa Penida.

Sanur beach is one of the best spot to watch sunrise . And if you’re catching up a boat to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Ceningan, you may find various speed boats in reasonable prices.

The water is really calm (because of coral reefs along the coast?), so it is a good place for swimming , you need not to struggle with waves

Black sand beach . Not my thing. This is where we boarded the boat to Nusa Penida, would be better if there are some docks to hop on.

Not too clean beach but the waves are small, so you can play onto the water along the beach .

Yes, the sunrise is gorgeous. Then nothing else to enjoy here. Its dirty , dirty and dirty ...except for a small section right in front of the Fairmont Sanur.

nice beach where you can see the sun come up. Not as crowded as kuta beach .

When the tide is low, you can walk far into the sea. Footwear recommended.
