Oh my god! Whomever dreamed up the chocolate and beer flight is a genius! Gorgeous flavors and unbeatable beers ! My favorite was the Crop Circle Wheat with the lemony, spicy milk chocolate !

Good beer , and very extensive menu. I've never really been wowed by the food or the service, but no complaints. Check out the downstairs bar if you are looking for an intimate atmosphere .

My boyfriend and I are patio enthusiasts and this may be one of our favorite patios ever! Definitely recommend checking it out!

I always order falafel when I'm here and it's great! If you find yourself here in the summer, the sunken outdoor patio is amazing. Oh and the beer is good too!

The entire menu reads well ; it was hard to decide. I went with the Mediterranean plate with salmon . So much food! I was more than satisfied.

I love this place. Great tuna tataki , wings , amazing beer and everything else. Awesome staff , I can't say anything bad about this place.

Start with the Cheese & Artichoke Dip (if you're craving more, order the Dane Burger , which comes topped in the dip ). Goes great with a Crop Circle Wheat in the summer.

Try all GDane locations. Great beer and wings . Main menu is wonderful too. A must stop while in Madison.

The poutine appetizer is worth the trip alone. Burgers are good, but I'm not a huge fan of the in house beers .

Decent beer and food but a great outdoor area . Also have a good number of pool tables and a locker to charge your phone!

Everything that I sampled was fantastic, but surprisingly my favorite thing was the pretzel bread that came as a side to the mac 'n cheese .

They always have my favorite Three Olives in stock... Triple Shot Espresso ! (Just don't tell the other 20-some flavors) Order it up with cola or in a cocktail with Three Olives Cake .

Great food but I wouldn't get the cheese curds ...at Great Dane they're basically mini mozzarella sticks . Save the calories for the old fashioned cheese curds

This is an excellent place to compare factory meat vs. grass-fed. If you go with someone else, order the same burger , one regular, one grass-fed and sample both.

What they call the Indian Tandoori Chicken is nowhere close to the actual tandoori chicken of India, but it's still awesome!

Go for the burger + brat-patty on the brat bun .

The Low Country Shrimp & Grits is amazing! One of my top ten favorite dishes anywhere.

Their cheese curds are the best I have ever had. The west African chicken peanut stew is AMAZING!

Crop circle is a great refreshing summertime beer abc I recommend the pot pie or Mac and cheese .

For a local, sustainable, grass-fed dinner , get the Sustain-a-burger, or substitute the same patty on to any of their other burger creations.

Outdoor Beer Garden easily makes this the best Great Dane location.
