Most of the staff has been great and the cookies are awesome, but this is not the classiest DoubleTree I've been to. Save money and book elsewhere.

The staff her is so helpful an extremely nice. While your up there at the front desk chatting with them enjoy a wonderful warm cookie .

Don't let the room rates fool you, *everything* costs extra: parking , breakfast , refrigerator , WiFi , newspaper. All the things most other hotels include no extra charge. Oh, you do get a free cookie .

When checking in, ask if there are suites available; you might get an upgrade to a much nicer room for minimal extra cost (if any)!

Great place to stay after seeing a show at the Fillmore, friendly staff and great omelets ! Free parking in the ramp behind the hotel .

Great place for a last minute hotel find. Apparently, Tuesday and Wednesday are peak days for hotel check-ins in and around DC. Thank goodness for Silver Springs

The bar is pretty nice and the cookies are good. Rooms are pretty standard. It's about time to clean the outside of the windows

Not what I have come to expect from the luxurious Hilton/DoubleTree name. If you would have blindfolded me and taken me to a room, I would have guessed Red Roof Inn or Super 8.

Bring extra cash, cause everything costs extra.

Try the hummus in the Twisted Willlow Restaurant ! Its FREE :-)

Eat here if you're interested in getting food poisoning. I ate the southern meal (salad , fried fish , fried chicken ) at a convention luncheon and the rest of my weekend was ruined! Never again!

If you have PTSD don't stay here. Doors slam loud and often all day and night. I feel like I'm in a warzone.

There are no ice machines above the 8th floor (don't believe the signs in the pool area )

For the Hilton reputation I was surprised that the room didn't have a microwave or a refrigerator in the room.

The hotel itself is just ok. The staff though is very good. Not Doubletree Milwaukee standard, but well above average.

Leave a do not disturb sign on your door, or room service will wake you up at around 08:30 - 09:00

$15 for overnight parking . No limit on in/out.

Great staff , agonizingly slow elevators

Was a bit disappointed about the room. I got a suites on the 4th floor. The room I stayed in, did not have a mini fridge or a microwave.

Sergio 's requires reservation but hotel staff won't tell you that. Twisted Tree restaurant has mediocre food, slow friendly svc. Don't expect to find plugs to recharge your electronica in the rooms.

Sergio 's Italian Restaurant was a great dining experience. Look for it near the lobby. NOT Hotel food.

Just checked in. Initial reaction... only fair . Almost no electrical outlets . Both telephones not operational. Bed comfortable . Bathroom really tiny.

Serious lack of available electrical outlets in rooms for traveling with only an average number of electronics in 2013.

Sergio restaurant on the first floor has great Italian food . DON'T MISS IT!

Sergio 's is a very good restaurant on lower level, but the Capital Bleu which is actual hotel restaurant has agonizingly slow service.

Nice breakfast buffet .

I've been to better Double Trees .

To follow up on another tip, the odd numbered rooms face away from traffic.

The room I stayed in didn't have wireless. The room's Ethernet connection was agonizingly slow.

Arrived to find ac not working in more than one of our rooms and rooms double booked . Not impressed.

The rooms were ordinary, nothing special. No wireless internet and the wired connection is very slow.
