Expect crowds as it is usually visited by cruise ship excursions. This jewel includes amazing Norman Byzantine mosaics . if you go Monreale is skippable.

Its a must visit in Palermo! Ticket at 14 euros for the whole castle , and gardens . Really worth it.

Cappella palatina is the royal chapel of the Norman kings on Sicily . It was commisioned by Ruggero II on 1132. Inside the chapel there are wonderful mosaic attributed to Byzantine artists .

The Palatine Chapel was commissioned in the 12th century by the Norman king Roger II. In my eyes it is just a jewel!

Роскошная капелла в норманском дворце сицилийских королей. Построена в XII веке в византийском стиле, позже добавлена арабская мозаика . Потолок а арабском стиле чвляется самым красивым среди подобных.

эм... ну за бесплатно может быть и впечатлила бы, а так... как-то не особо, разве что спрятаться от жары за 8,5€ (13,5€ с аудиогидом на айподе)

Un luogo incantevole ma non sempre accessibile perchè ubicato all'interno del Palazzo Reale che purtroppo risente degli orari e dei condizionamenti del Parlamento Regionale Siciliano ...
