Great place to purchase excellent seafood to cook at home! Also their menu has freshest seafood in Austin while keeping the recipes simple focusing on fish . They will fly in fish per request!

Freshest Gulf oysters with horseradish , salt and lemon juice . Their deep-fried cod is excellent. Okra and fries sides are awesome.

Sit at the bar to avoid ordering at the window. Slim wine selection but plenty of local beers . Oysters are tasty and fresh. Fried foods aren't as good though. Still a neat spot overall.

Seafood lovers dream come true! Ordered way more than four people should be eating but we devoured it all..

Raw gulf oysters , fried scallops , fried oysters , fried catfish & the Mac & cheese was delicious.

My first visit since QS renovated and expanded. Great improvement. Was often too crowded in the past. Hooray!

WiFi password is gofish Bummed they don’t do steamed clams or whole belly fried clams anymore but Blackened Drum was delicious.

Mahi tacos are great! Taco Tuesday is the the best of their weekly specials with $3.00 tacos and $2.00 all domestic drafts .

Cold boiled shrimp and crab cakes are amazing.

Fried shrimp basket - quite good. Turned off big time - some of the cooks behind the Oysters Bar kept eating when we sat down & still eating after we paid our bill. Unprofessional & very nasty!

If you go with friends, get someone else to stake out a table for you-- seating is first-come, first-served.
