Korean Tofu House

Run by a Korean woman and her daughter, this is seriously the only authentic Korean food I've found in Seattle. Simply delicious. It's usually packed, but worth the wait.

Great Korean food , a little tough to spot, but well worth the effort. Crowded on Tuesday night because of great food and low cost. Only 42 bucks for 4 with lots of leftovers

The place I'm referring to is past 50th & University Way in an unassuming location with "Open" often being the only signage. Ran by incredibly sweet couple and makes a mean kimchi tofu soup !

Try the yukgaejang (spicy shredded beef soup ) - best in Seattle I've had (and the side dishes are solid here).

Portions are big, but I've had better Korean food at other restaurants around Seattle.

Hot pot bibimbap can't be beat. So affordable too!

Soondooboo is fabulous, as is the ddokbokki. No alcohol at this location.

The bulgogi noodle soup is absolutely delicious! Their short ribs made perfecly but a bit fatty. Good value for the mom n' pop shop.

This was surprisingly tasty. I'm a fan.

Spicy Squid is fantastic

They povide what few Korean restaurants on the Ave will: those tasty pickled side dishes.

When they ask if you want an egg cracked into your soup ... for goodness sake , say yes!!

Bibimbap in hot pot is the bomb. Do it.

I tried the pork tofu soup ..... Sorry to say, but it was really bad today...I feel very sick after eating it. The pork was old and sour... Maybe today only? Idk..

HORRIBLE. They didn't even give us Kimchi . BLASPHEMY. What kind of Korean restaurant doesn't give ANY side dishes? BURN IT TO THE GROUND
