Lovely evening. Would recommend seats at the yellow balcony .
Really liked walking through all the rooms, and the layout was easy so that you can make sure you don't miss anything!
The Kiss statue by Rowan Gillespie, 1989, is located opposite to the National Concert Hall.
Grab a drink at the bar before a show, but leave yourself time as no glasses allowed in the hall.
Place is missing personality, but has a good acoustic for venues.
THe Conrad hotel , across the road from the NCH is also very good for food.
Beautiful building. Great concerts .
Unless you can drink quickly don't order drinks at the interval. The measures are large and the break is short !
Excellent acoustics
New Music Dublin a great annual addition to the programme here
The Choir Seats (over the stage, facing the audience) are not very well padded and force you to sit up straight (ideal for singing while sitting, but not comfortable ). Bring padding
€5 student standby tickets
The restaurant in NCH is very good for pre concert bite
Pretty building. Great place to catch a performance .
The new (to me, at least) brunch menu is great. Loved the eggs benedict accompanied by awesome Vice filter coffee - James Gallagher
