Ellicott Creek Island Park

Great park ! I'm from New York City and I have always wished that I could let my Feist off her leash. On the island everyone is great. Even the kids ask before petting my dog. I'm now a member.

Open area for the dogs to run around. Unfortunately I have a puppy still but he still had a great time meeting new people. There is also an area that lowers into the creek for dogs to swim .

It's a very nice park surrounded by water. Love seeing everyone bring there dogs here to let them play! They should make it an official dog park so they can run and play!

Ellicott Island is now officially a dog park . Fence across the access bridge prevents dogs from leaving their owners behind unsupervised! Leashing is now optional.

Best dog park around. Just a thought however...if you're going to keep your dog on leash the entire time you're there, maybe just go for a walk instead? Awkward.

Best place to bring dogs

Erie County has numerous parks at your disposal if you do not like dogs and cannot handle off leash animals-please go find them and leave us alone...

It's not chaos . If you don't know how to control your dog off-leash, don't bring them. Take some dog training and then come back. And dogs deserve a place they can run and play, just like humans.

Its the law there's a big sign at the beginning of the park its there for a reason.

Beware of broken glass - our dog was cut very badly when playing in the water.
