Still one of my favourite places in London to get a decent ale . Everything is well-kept in this traditional pub and the staff are fantastic.

Best pub in High Barnet. Loads of space out back. Plenty of ales and always enough staff to serve them. My wife likes it too!

The burgers are great and fab atmosphere

Not very wheelchair accessible indoors, but access to the beer garden is very easy.

Around since 1553. Open fires make this a great pub for a cold winters day.

Nice big beer garden out back, perfect for a few pints of real ale on a sunny day!

Beers and food

Try to make it to the pubs monthly jazz/blues night. It is fantastic!

Be prepared for a very long wait for food here (if it arrives at all) & don't bother with the free wi-fi - it only works now & then... if you're lucky!
