Morandi is a spacious restaurant , particularly in the summer months - an excellent al fresco situation. good food, not quite up to par with some of the West Village heavyweights
The baked eggs in a skillet for brunch are amazing especially on a nice day and a table outside ! For pasta the lemon pasta is so simple but incredibly delicious. Great for sharing!
All the reviews about the Cacio e Pepe are spot on! The Endive Salad and Bolognese were amazing! The server gave us personalized attention and although he recommended a couple of wines to pair.
Prosciutto and arugula focaccia and fritto misto . Not healthy at all, but really good apps to share with a friend over some Italian wine . Get the lobster pasta special on Fridays.
It's a trendy and lively spot. Food is good but tough to get anything special ordered (I wanted calamari in red sauce but they only would serve it on the side). Great Manhattan 's! I recommend it.
Our waiter recommended a pasta dish which was cooked to perfection. The sauces blended really well . And def get the meatballs . They melt in your mouth. Tiramisu - yum yum
Great pastas and atmosphere. Perfect for groups and has outdoor seating . Try the squid ink spaghetti with mixed seafood and the cavatelli with lamb and snow peas !
great Italian food in the west village . a little piece of Italy in Manhattan. the caprese flatbread pizza was delicious!
Everything in this charming West Village restaurant is delicious! The meatballs are close to perfect. Even the olive oil is incredible. A great place to enjoy some great food and wine with friends.
Great outdoor seating / location. Try the cavatelli pasta in the prosciutto cream sauce . We had an issue where our cards were double charged but otherwise good experience.
Sit outside on a lovely afternoon and start out with blood orange martinis . Work your way towards lambrusco and close it out with their meatballs . Go home and pass out with a smile on your face.
They will give you spaghetti with the meatball entree and love them for it. Great scene and yummy food. Must have the torta di ricotta desert above all others - yes I tried them all don't be a hater
Roasted Brussels sprouts . Grilled sea bass well done. (And the focaccia with ricotta cheese if you're feeling it...yummy) third dinner visit- must try it during brunch !
Superb atmosphere and attentive staff . A fantastic spot for an outdoor drink on a nice day
Reliable Italian in west village . The restaurant is big, so you have a higher chance of getting in without a reservation . The food and service was good.
Great atmosphere and even the inside tables feel outdoors thanks to the big windows that open up. Great pasta options and nice wine list
You MUST order the rigatoni all’amatriciana and the meatballs . The very attentive service makes the meal even more enjoyable.
Burrata was great! And I don’t even like burrata ! Great vibe, great service
Joe the bartender was great and the food is always fantastic meatballs with raisins , faro salad ,etc.
This is my favorite simple salad anywhere. Just a beautiful layered butter lettuce with vinaigrette .
Squid with peppers , capers & olives . Octopus with celery & black olives . Chicken with chilis & lemon .
Great grilled octopus appetizer , nice fish entree options, good wine selections
Great outdoor seating , don’t miss the lemon pasta , grilled calamari , flat iron steak , and cannolis
Celeb sightings galore! They have this salted fish mashed potato polenta app here that's so different from anything I've ever tried... in a great way.
I second the uova in camicia as great choice for brunch . Start with brûlée topped grapefruit half and blood orange prosecco .
Pasta , burrata , wine selection is well edited. Cocktails are just perfect. Service is nice and attentive.
Dinner & wine with a friend or two at the bar is the best option. Brussels sprout salad + lemon pasta for the win.
Sit outside, get a bottle of chilled Lambrusco and enjoy the scenery. Great at any time but baked egg skillet for brunch is delish!
NY. Yet another Keith McNally hot-spot, we love the pastas and lively environment at Morandi. Must try: the burrata e pachini and Pici Al Limone spaghetti .
Great Italian restaurant . Love the pasta dishes. If you walk in, expect a one hour wait (no matter what the hostess says).
Great for brunch , lunch and dinner ! Delicious, authentic Italian cuisine . Great for groups - most dishes are designed to share.
Great service with tasteful Italian cuisine and wine choices. Grilled calamari and canollini can be tried.
Delicious but busy for weekend brunch . Loved my blood orange Bellini and the lobster toast .
Amazing brunch ! Loved the place, the food, and the service
Wasn’t crazy about the dinner menu . Skip the chicken entree . The outdoor tables are nice so I would come back for mid-afternoon cocktails and snack .
Get the EVERYTHING! This place is insanely delicious!
Solid Italian food , my favorite was the lemon pasta
Burrata , served with vine cherry tomatoes drizzled with a balsamic reduction , is a perfect blend of Italian flavors! Delizioso!
Nice salads , normal pasta but still very nice for lunch
Delicious Italian food in the West Village , everything was fresh and tasty. Try the pasta with lemon and parmesan . Don't forget your reservation !
Brunch , brunch , brunch ! If you get a chance to visit Morandi, you’ll know what we mean. Great food, great location, and a perfect patio .
Found this off a passive 4sq recommendation. Get the meatballs !
Staff a little distracted, but a seat outside , a glass of verdicchio and the lemon pasta can't be beat...
Great outdoor seating and doors the swing back to create the feeling of patio dining at almost every table. Love the service.
We had reservations , but the hostess didn't care and made us wait an hour before getting an acceptable table... food though was above average + waiter brought us complimentary wine for the long wait
Get the steak with over easy eggs and a cup of cappuccino , it's the perfect brunch .
Watermelon salad was off the charts. Lamb Ragu and lemon pastas were great as well
My favorite restaurant in NYC.
Dont leave without Tiramisu
