Downtown Phoenix Comes Alive! Live music , art , dancing , food, everywhere - outside in the streets and inside almost every establishment. The cooler, hipper version of the Scottsdale Art Walk.
The art is not really my type, but it's definitely a fun thing to try at least once. The food truck lines may look taunting, but trust me they are definitely worth it! I haven't had a bad time yet.
First Friday is a lot of fun! Check out the local artists and vendors; you may find a cool painting to hang on your wall! Also come with an appetite, there are food trucks there.
Parking is 5$ in an empty lot right off Roosevelt on the right! Great food, lots of art , music , street shows! It's great!
First Friday art walk is a great way to get a taste of local culture .
Interesting crowd but a fun thing to go to every once in awhile. You really get to see some of the Phoenix culture and all for free!
Inexpensive hot dogs , free shows with professionals, such as, Capoeira dancers. They start at 7:30 p.m. on 5th St. There are also singers , trick masters, local art , and posh jewelry for $5.
Lost leaf is great. Food trucks great. Art is great. Come down and have fun
Free exhibits and good, cheap food every friday! Great way to explore new artists and their work.
Some seem to check in on days other than 1st Friday. Other than that it's a very cool event . Resident dj's need to come more.
Really enjoy the culture when First Friday comes around. Finding a bathroom may be a challenge though.
Fun !!! Great stuff and music
Enjoy local art , music and delicious eateries during a First Friday art walk.
Make sure you bring your colostomy bag. I mean everyone has one of those right?
Cheddatruck is on 3rd and Roosevelt east side of modern art
You can get away with $20, but you will probably want more
Dont forget your colostomy bag. You're gonna need it!
My first First Friday on January 7, 2011. Beautiful evening. Lots of food, music and art . Had a great time on Walter the Bus . And just wandering around.
Local art .
Fun for the whole family.
ArTenders has a great little bar set up at the Phoenix Art Museum
Outdoor art festival
Great atmosphere
Cheap and unorganized event comprised of various paintings , arts and crafts, jewlery , clothes , musicians , scultptures, etc. located downtown. Kind of a disappointment and doesn't live up to the hype.
two words: food trucks !
May I be the first to say: I knew First Friday, and you, sir, are no First Friday. Just not like the old days.
Art , good people, and music .
Only time each month when PHX comes alive. It's getting bigger and busier, but luckily not spoiled yet.
can be hard to find a bathroom Read more
It's NOT an "ART WALK" if there are people in booths who are selling incense they didn't even make. TOO COMMERCIAL.
May First Friday TONIGHT! Read more
