Hayden Library

Not only is this a huge library with unlimited resources & a great place to study at any time of the day, but during midterms & finals week they provide FREE drinks & snack after 2:30 am for crammers

Spent many late nights and early mornings here! Try the chicken shawarma from the Cafe Biblioteca ! The price is OK...They also have a great variety of herbal teas . Perfect for students I think! :)

Basement is always a good place to get some quiet study time. There's a cafe there in case you need a quick lunch . Library gets crowded during finals. Open 24hr for students with ID except on weekends

Great place to study is the second floor in the plush chairs overlooking the lawn. There are outlets for your laptop; just don't go at sunset , the glare is killer.

This library makes you get work done if you find the right spot. I prefer the basement where there is computers or personal desks. Try the Cafe down stairs by the front for a great bite to eat!

Try to be courteous for everyone. If the floor is designated as a quiet floor then don't whisper with friends or listen to music through your headphones, because we can all still hear you!

Great place to get things done, provides access to the Internet and to the plethora of books that sit on the shelves. Also a nice place to kill time and people watch .

Being Arizona State 's largest library , it gets crowded especially around finals. Check out some of the smaller, less known, library 's on campus encase you need a better place to study

The library is huge & it's a cool place to study. They have library books ,magazines & a sun card machine!The staff in the library are friendly & useful. They have computers & printers too.

There are now adapters to connect Apple laptops to the MediaScape (large tv monitor at the group study table on the first floor). Just check them out with your SunCard at the Info/Check Out desk.

If you want to get some studying in dont go to the group study areas & if you want outlets for your computer go to the second or third floor. The bottom level right when you walk in isnt a good spot.

club hayden? it's definitely a busy place, but a really good place to get homework done is on the third floor. Or if you are more scenic go to the second floor and over look the walk way.

Hayden Library is only a good place to come to if you're working on a group project or with groups. Whenever I come here by myself it is always people talking loudly and it is usually hard to focus.

Every aspect of this library is built for success in the Sun Devils. I personally spend a lot of time on the third floor, where they have intense quite areas.

Cant focus at home? Come to Hayden to study. Particularly upstairs in between the book cases, here you can find some desks to be alone. Its very quiet too which is a plus.

Nice and quiet place to study. Located right in the center of the Tempe campus . Try an iced chai latte or iced thai tea from Cafe Biblioteca to make studying a little more enjoyable!

If you're looking for a quiet place to study, don't come here. It's usually packed and there hardly any study rooms to do your work and get some peace and quiet . I suggest going to the Noble library .

The first floor is such a great place for study groups to meet up. But if you want silence, the 3rd floor is extremely quiet and there are individual desks sectioned off for optimal concentration.

Not the easiest place to study on campus and has become known as Club Hayden. If you are trying to study take yourself up to the third floor as it gets more quiet as you go to the higher floors.

Study rooms are a solid way to go. I also like the tables outside the entrance to the library , a good place to chill and hang out without too much people and noise.

If you need to get some homework done, Hayden is the place to go! great place to pull an all nighter. Always fun to people watch . Computers and printers to use as well .

If you need a quiet place to study but don't want to be a loner and/or confined to a cubicle, try out the 3rd floor. It's exactly what you're looking for.

The first floor is great for group studying and collaboration. If you need to concentrate and have some peace and quiet , go to the room right of the elevators on the 3rd floor.

One of the best places to study is in the Luhrs Reading Room on the 4th floor... Quite, comfy chairs , big desks... Ideal for studying!

Very helpful staff and if you do not have access to a computer or the Internet, and you're a student, this is the place to be!

The cafe in the front is a great place to get work done. The food in the cafe is great! Make sure you bring a quarter for water. They charge! Bad for business.

Did you know that Hayden Library was built in 1966 and was named after the founder of Tempe, Charles Trumbull Hayden. Remember you have to go downstairs to enter.

A lot of people end up socializing more than studying here so try to bring headphones or go to the basement…it's quiet there! Avoid during finals-it's packed!

take the elevator to the third floor, go to the right, and then to the left. the desks along the window/wall are usually open, and have lots of outlets around them. and it's quiet there!

Looking for a quiet comfy spot to study? Try the southeast corner on the 3rd floor. There is an outlet every table and comfortable chairs .

The private study rooms on the third floor are amazingly quiet , UNLIKE the main floor of the library . Good for tests and quiet homework time.

Make sure to bring your sun card for nights you plan on being there after midnight. They make rounds to make sure your a student.

If it was not for the little cafe at Hayden library I would have had no desire to study there. They have great coffee , sandwiches , salads , and bottled Coca-cola!

If you are looking for a really quiet area to study or work on assignments go to the 3rd floor, most people don't go there so its relatively empty all day, even during busy exam weeks.

There are airports in developing countries that have more outlets and plugs than this library .

Great place to study! Plus, enjoy Cafe Bibloteca's food and beverages when you need a pick-me-up.

A great meeting place to work on group projects or to go study, but it is usually packed during any exam weeks

Do not use the basement computers that have an auto-logout feature. There will be a sign near the computer to indicate the time limit. But, students can study comfortably on the cushioned furniture .

Take a loa off. Curl up on a big comfy cushion near the main entrance. This is the perfect place for a nice nap.

Great place to study, however it can get really noisy ! Study on the third floor to avoid noise!

As long as you have your sun card on you, you have 24 hour access to Hayden Libraries resources. They do check for the cards after hours to don't take it lightly!

More outlets activated on Upper Concourse (in the structure in the middle of the room) & Level 3 (in the tables with the blue dividers).

If you need help finding research journals through ERIC, EBSCOhost, etc, they are always ready and willing to help out. Very helpful and welcoming.

If you want to go somewhere quiet , go to the basement , to your left when you see the front desk go right and all the way in the back are a lot of outlets and tables
