Sy Thai Cafe

My favorite favorite favorite. The family owned Sy Thai had several teen age daughters that became my good friends. They actually set me up on a blind date. Ha Ha. Loved the 1990s in Birmingham!

My favorite Thai Food in Detroit area. Food is always fresh and service is great. Can get really crowded during lunch time though. While there try coffee from Commonwealth cafe across the street.

It can be hard to find vegetarian Thai food (fish sauce in everything), but they have a few options that are stellar. Highly recommend the noodle dishes .

They are so vegan friendly ! And knowledgeable . My new favorite Thai Food place ???? Great food and good prices.

My favorite Thai place in metro Detroit and you can't beat the lunch prices - $6.95 with chicken , soup , shrimp chips . Always excellent.

Don't even THINK about coming here without ordering the crab cheese with plum sauce . Orange chicken (no spice) + white rice is my favorite.

Sy's Fried Rice is the best! Try it with mild plus or medium spice . Delish!

Get the Crab Cheese appetizer ... delicious! Jub Chai is the best - chicken , beef or scallops have all been great. Lots of veggies and a slightly sweet brown soya sauce.

SOO GOOD! They are serious about their spice, so go mild or no spice if you are sensivite to it.

The peanut sauce is dope. Not as spicy as I wanted but still really tasty.

The crispy rolls are top notch and a must get

First time. Fried duck , Yuck! It was at least a day old and had that microwave re-heated texture and taste. I gave it to my cats and they wouldn't eat it! My husband got sick after eating his food.

Their tofu is always perfect

The coconut ice cream is PHENOMENAL!!!!! And vegan !

This place does it right. Good, fast service , and great food.

Get the drunken noodle with MILD spice or the pad pak! Anything really, it's great!
