Hyotan Japanese Restaurant

Hyotan set meal is especially recommended. Luxurious eel , tempura , and even salmon sashimi and I was very satisfied with the taste. There are many restaurants in SS15 , but this one is my favorite.

If you want the best chawamushi it's here at hyotan. Great service and always delightful meal! Free coffee or ice-cream too! Definitely one of my favourite Japanese restaurant around

Looks quiet and unappealing but food is equally yummy as the neighbouring competitors, lesser noise & crowd. Complimentary matcha ice cream :)

Very good value for set meals . Some bentos are as cheap as RM25. Cheap and good salmon sashimi . RM20 for 5 pieces. They have omakase at RM155 for 2 people. Hope to try that next.

Food is delicious! Bento A is my favorite:) with sashimi , unagi , tempura and tamago. Their chawan mushi is savory and delicious! Must try!

This is not your run of the mill Japanese restaurant . Food is authentic Japanese and price is decent... variety is unique and not made up of your standard commercialized choices.

food taste great, their set meal is pretty interesting and priced reasonably. service was really slow during my last visit, hopefully this can be addressed.

Run by Japanese couple so do expect authentic food with a homey Japanese taste to it. Unagi is fresh n juicy. If lucky u might get rewarded with complimentary macha ice cream

Authentic Japanese food . Slightly pricey but yummy.

Food was nice except for the mustard tako..it was fresh but sauce taste like shit..excellent service and kind servers.

Terrible! Avoid at all cost! Mosquitoes, understaffed, food arrive after 1 hour yet still Incomplete! Beef teppanyaki hard as rock! Called for manager didn’t even come. Just said void the beef . Avoid!

Taste for food here did not on pair with the price. Don't ever eat Edamame here, small portion and not good in taste. Not recommend to those who wanna have good Japanese food !

Very authentic Japanese flavour, same goes to the price tag. Loved the Yaki Udon , bombastic!
