I've shopped here since 2005 and their meats are always fresh and have low prices on Wednesday. Their broccoli will look green 98% of the time, whereas other groceries still struggle giving the best.

Get the Safeway App and save $$$ with the Just for U coupons that aren't advertised in the store. You can add other coupons to your card as well . Seriously it's worth time to do it.

The Starbucks inside this Safeway is super fast and very friendly . In the mornings it's much quicker to stop off here than go to the Starbucks in the same shopping plaza !

. Buy hotdog buns Tuesday. Today they are moldy. Take them back and they say go grab new ones. I go and first package is moldy to . It's sell by date was 8th the package I returned 9th.

This location is great everyone knows me by name the lines do not take long at all and it's not a fucking Walmart I always see people I know from around the neighborhood .

This place is sketchy at night. Staff is friendly but wish the parking lot felt safer. Also do NOT go right after work- the lines are atrocious. Perfect time for groceries ? 6:30 pm.

The Artesian stuff is the best bread I've had in Phoenix so far.

Overall the best Safeway in Phoenix. Much cleaner than the Fry's on Thomas.

The Nyquil is located at the back of the store, right in front of the pharmacy .
