Amazing food, but more importantly, an amazing group of women with some of the most amazing stories you will ever here. This is food and life done exceptionally.
Chocolate croisant to die for! So good!! Staff is nice. There wasn't much selection in the refrigerator section, which I wish they had.
Great tacos a little pricey , small and intensely flavored. Eat here and support a good cause.
OMG, homeboy industries does such incredible work with former gang members .
Very good service , unique and tasty food, great people. Crowded . Come early or off peak.
Go to @HomeboyInd's Homegirl Cafe when looking for a meeting spot anywhere near City Hall . Get a good meal while doing good for the community.
Such a powerful and vibrant space. The carne, carnitas , an achiote chicken tacos are on point.
The food was excellent. I had the grilled cheese with kale and bacon !!! yum yum!!!
Homegirl Café showcases local, seasonal, sustainable ingredients. Its urban gardens yield heirloom tomatoes , squash blossoms , and nopales for the café .
Grab some coffee , sandwiches , salads and breads . They even sell herbs from their garden !!! The American is awesome here.
Angela's potion is awesome! Chorizo taco and pork with apple taco is the best combo. Not much room left for a 3rd taco .
The chilaquiles are fantastic!
They have the best coffee . The add cinnamon and orange peel . Get it!
Get the carnitas taco and substitute the tortilla for a grilled nopal (cactus leaf). And of course the limeade (Angela's potion)!
The pastries (and service) are fantastic!
The caramel bowties are amazing!!!
Great organization doing important work for the community.
Great food, great people, and great cause... There is no reason to not to come eat here

After a run at the Cornfield state park , walked over & had a great brunch . Loved the green turkey chorizo .
Machaca con huevos is outstanding!
Great food (awesome brunch ), and works with the community to help keep gang members off the street and employed.
What the hell happened to the tacos de cochinita pibil ? Those were the best!
Great service!
Food and Baked Goods
Got seated by a rude waitress at an untidy table and were told we cant seat elsewhere, though the place was half full. Decided it's not a place for a nice breakfast . Left asap.
Angela's Potion (cilantro limeade ) is bomb!!
The food's good, it's for a great cause, and because it's an NPO, there's no sales tax!
Great food
Sarah's potion is the bomb!! Gotta love the spinach and mint combo!
Pauline's latte is amazing!
Great food, great service, great cause!
Chilequiles + Angela's potion = awesome brunch
The food is good and cheap, but the best thing about this place is the outdoor courtyard and buzz of energy! I wish I worked in this building. - Connie Chiu
