Baked bun with BBQ pork ..divine! Not bad for Php145/3pcs. A must try - glutinous rice in lotus leaf .???? For dimsums i suggest you get the spinach dumpling w/ shrimp not the typical hakaw and siomai
Tim Ho Wan has a lot of delicious foods to offer except for vermicell roll with pig 's liver . It taste like Tinola. Their baked buns with bbq pork and Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf is a must try.
The Baked Pork buns are worth the buzz! These buns are pure magic. 145 pesos for 3 buns ! Dumplings were all good but definitely pricy compared to other good dim sum restos! Queue's bearable. Yum!
Tried the noodles which is new on their menu. It was good, though it wasn't spectacular. I added a little calamansi to it for an added kick. But the pork buns are great as always!!!!
Tip from Javalava Manila Tours . The vermicelli with pork barbecue is to die for. Try their spareribs rice too. Super friendly staff . Visit www.gojavalava.com
Delicious baked pork buns and dimsum ! As of May 27th visit: one order of pork buns per person only. Also, no take-outs so you have to dine-in and bring home left-overs.
Pork buns are as good—even better—than what they said. But not just the pork buns ! Try out as much as you can. Queue is manageable after lunch during weekdays.
Try their pork buns ! This not your usual toasted siopao .;) plus Glutinous rice in lotus leaf ! Then find the goose liver inside it.:D and of course don't miss drinking their iced tea .
Pork buns and Steamed Egg Cake are my favourites. Shrimp dumpling and Spinach dumpling with shrimp are also good!
Always yummy! Love Fried Pork Bun , Dim Sum , Congee & Pot rice with chicken . Never disappoint with its taste.
The vermicelli roll with pig 's liver and spinach dumpling with shrimp were good, too! Just expect a longer wait for them than the pork buns .
The Spare Ribs Rice is surprisingly delectable, considering I never liked it usually. The Hakaw (prawn dumpling ) is also excellent. It is expensive though, best to budget 1k especially for takaw mata
Baked Buns were served fresh out of the oven. I liked the Baked Buns but it can be compared to eating Toasted Siopao . Other than the delicious Baked Buns , no other food in their menu impressed me.
Quick turnover of tables. As soon as we sat down, water & utensils were given. Customers fill out the order slips themselves. The pork buns quickly served. The other items took a bit longer.
As we were eating outside, we can see some people jumping the queue by name dropping the owner (maybe?). And they succeeded! So my tip is, get to know the owner l, get a thick face to avoid the lines .
When having Beef Rice with Fried Egg , you can always ask for the extra sweet soy; meals go best with a pot of jasmine or oolong tea for only Php 60.00/pot
Di ako umeechos or anything ha, but these pork buns deserve the hype they're getting! Also enjoyed the spinach with shrimp dumplings .
Expect shorter lines around 2 hours before closing time. The baked buns with BBQ pork were served almost immediately. So good! 3 pcs per order, for Php145.
Try the Baked Bun with BBQ (3pcs) for P145! (Picture) Sarap!! Also try their Pork Dumpling with Shrimp (4pcs) for P150.
Line up really early if you want to have lunch/early lunch . They now open at 11am. Try their spareribs , hakaw, and beancurd roll with shrimp and pork .
Want more pork buns ? Try asking the people next to your table if they already ordered all the buns they are allowed to get. Who knows, they may just be kind enough to order it for you.
Tastes like HongKong's! Must-order: PorkBuns, Vermicelli Roll with Shrimp , Prawn/Pork Dumplings or any of the rice toppings .
Served at last! Had a quick lunch & was not able to enjoy the food that much ???? Everything were fast from long que to serving food up to paying the bill. Food is good but not as excellent as expected.
Sticky rice On lotus leaf - made from pure "malagkit" .... Really filling, satisfying and worth the Michelin star
Gotta try everything once but start with best sellers - pork buns , spare ribs rice , and maybe vermicelli roll .
what else to order? Baked Bun with BBQ Pork (Pork Buns ). other dimsum are pricey . try chicken sausage mushroom rice and pork ribs ribs .
I hope they have a take out line like in Hong Kong to avoid long lines . And stop having a limit on how many pork buns people can order.
The pork buns are worth the calories, Ate 3 :-) worth it.for 50 bucks each :-D :-D :-D
Beware of people reserving for 2 since queue is faster; then when seated, their companions comes in and ask for a bigger table. #sneakymoves #lowlifers #kadiri #mukhangEDUKADOnaman
If you get the chance to order everything on the menu, do it. One of the best tasting and great quality Chinese food .
Best to go during weekdays around 3-5pm :) and make sure it's raining hard outside. Hehe!
Tried their Chicken & Sausage Rice Toppings . It's good and all their prices are more than reasonable. Try also Shrimp Vermicelli .
Everything on the menu is superb. Watch out for mother monster roaming around taunting the staff with her piercing icy looks.
best to go in twos or fours given the long queue. pork buns are worth it though.
Melt-in-your-mouth pork bun goodness at 145 PHP for 3 pieces, worth the half an hour wait ^_^
Pork bun is a must try, very authentic . Although the queue for line is so looooong..
There's a queue no matter what time it is, but the waiting is more bearable after lunch . Pork buns were good, but the scene stealers are the hakaw and the wasabi salad prawn dumplings !
Worth the wait. :) ???? must try the baked bun with pork BBQ . ????????
I like their new dish, Chili Dumplings . The Five Treasure dimsum is pretty good too
Great food, great service and value for money ! Do try and experience a superb dining experience!
Melt in your mouth yung baked bun with BBQ pork !! A must try. PROMISE :)
