Pocono Mountain Villas (formerly Fernwood Resort)

Stayed in a villa last year and in the hotel this year. Had a great time on both trips. I don't really get all the negative comments. Its been great for me, which the exception a very minor details.

Have no complaints about the hotel . Jacuzzi and sauna suite was awesome, Some people really just want to complain, which makes no sense to me. Just enjoy yourselves. Seriously.

The rooms are really run down in treetop villas . Some buildings look condemned. I'd say I'm sticking with cove Haven from now on...

The Zumba class in the gym at 7pm on Saturday's is amazing! Best Zumba instructor in the Tri-state area!

It was great. Romantic with lots to do in the area. Villa 's are very nice and spacious .

The room we were given had an festation of dead bugs all over the floor and a stained disguisting bed. When we complained they told us our expectations were to high & this was normal for the Poconos .

Took this as my timeshare week. I cannot believe RCI is affiliated with this place. Looking forward to going home.

Close to Bushkill Falls - The Niagara of Pennsylvania, beautiful waterfalls and lots of trails to hike .

Hotel just sold off to another company. Didn't like the sound of that, but will keep a sharp eye out for any new changes

This place is horrible. I would rather stay at a motel six. Room smells and the bed is as hard as a rock and the manager won't even come out to talk to us when we asked for him. Safe your money!

This facility definitely needs more restrooms !

They have a lot of nerve calling this a resort . It's an overpriced city dump !

What a dump !! So disappointed. Bed is rock-hard, everything is dirty . Jacuzzi is grungy . Room is nonsmoking but STINKS like cigarette smoke. Manager won't even talk to us! He knows its a dump !!

Place is a dump . I would never call this place a resort . Had to change rooms because of mold growing on inside walls.

Two words...deferred maintenance.

My room was horrible. Door lock didn't work, couldn't swipe to get into room. In room coffee maker didn't work. Cleaning staff knocking on doors at 9:00am. Fire alarm in hall falling off wall.

Great resort . Lots to do.

Do NOT waste your money or time here. Been moved to two different villas and BOTH of them shoot dirt out of the hot water. Sheets are torn and pubic hairs in the shower . This place is nasty!

Ask for a room with a balcony .

Fernwood has really improved. Very nice.

Rooms and hallways are dirty . Carpet in rooms were horribly stained. AC was not working in halls or in our room.

You couldn't pay me to stay in this dump . After having worked here and knowing what I know, there's no way I would ever waste my money here.

Yet another let down from ferneood resort . Ballroom was dirty , stained old carpets, and a poor waiting staff

Snow Tubing here is awesom

Disgusting. They obviously don't care about basic upkeep and cleanliness. Avoid
