Small fruit bowl as a breakfast side rather than meat or potatoes .
This is the place for biscuits , but not if you come later in the day. They'll serve you leftovers.

I think it's high time that western civilization rethinks the standard 1/2 oz. jam/jelly/spread serving size. 1 oz. seems more appropriate given the average serving of toast requires 2. Just sayin'.
