I have been coming here twice a summer for 10 years. It has changed a lot and become much more commercialized. To bad they got greedy because it used to be a perfect getaway resort :( still love it tho

If you stay here, you'll love every minute of it. Check out Hartell's for a great burger at Baytowne Wharf . Everyone at the resort is very friendly . Head to funky blues shack for live music at night!

The condos are amazing in the luau. The beach is amazing but the chair/umbrella rentals are stupid expensive

To celebrate each day, head to the Baytowne Marina at sunset for the blowing of the cannon and ringing of the bell and say hello to resident McCaws MaryAnn and Gilligan.

When you're visiting stop by Smoke House BBQ - the best BBQ east of the Mississippi!! This place is wonderful & let Peter, the owner, know his favorite KY drug dealer (pharmacist ) sent you!!

Such a beautiful place to stay at and so much to do within the resort . Everyone was so friendly !!

Excellent rooms and amenities , but it's far removed from the actual town of Destin.

The reason the tram sucks is because Sandestin Rentals owns it and blocked the small individual owners from using it. So now they only go from the village to the beach , on their schedule!

I have been visiting this “resort ” for several years now and this visit was the worst by far; rooms were not ready; cleaning service was not done except once in 3 days, indifferent customer service.

Decent little restaurant/bar at marina , great views , especially at sunset .

Great place for a weekend getaway!

The greens at the links course suck: slow and sandy. If you're the first tee time, don't bother showing up early to hit balls, the range won't be open. Staff also isn't the most friendly .

How bout joining me in convincing mgmt. to hire a whole new front desk staff and bellhop people! They're all idiots and UNAPOLOGETIC!!! They didn't even thank me. Never again unless they comp me!

WiFi access for resort guests is about as bad as it gets. Year after year I think I am just having bad luck but come'on Sandestin - it is 2012.

This place has gone down hill and it's sad because it used to be so fabulous.

Terrible customer service when we had an issue w our unit (no hot water, and later no power at all). Would not comp that night for the major inconvenience.
