This is a cool thing to check out on a sunny day. The image looks really crisp and very high definition. I was mesmerized. Definitely worth the price of admission.
This is an old relic from Playland at the beach . Sometimes it's not obvious if it's open, but the hours should be 11-5 Mon-Sun. Make sure it's sunny so you can see Seal Rock.
FAVORITE THING IN THE CITY :) you must come here if you are visiting, such a cute lil gem.
One of my favorite things to see in SF! It is a must!
The ancient version of HDTV. Very clear image on a sunny day.
Camera Obscura was built by Floyd Jennings in 1946 as an attraction for nearby Playland-at-the-Beach. About 10 years later, the building was modified to look like a camera that a tourist left behind.
