My favorite BBQ spot. I always get the chopped brisket and pulled pork , w/ a homemade root beer , it's consistently very good. Also, the mac & cheese is the best in town . Worth a stop.

Joe's BBQ is a VERY popular place in Gilbert (and for good reason). As a result, it is often quite crowded . I recommend going for lunch or early dinner , if possible, to avoid the evening rush.

By far the best BBQ I have ever had! I love ordering to go, and picking it up at the cute little window outside! The people are hilarious and their chicken is the best you'll ever have!!

I love this place... good food overall. I usually get the bigger sandwich with 2 meats and take half home. Mac and Cheese , beans, cornbread , and cheesy potatoes are all really great sides.

The best bbq in the valley. If it's your first time you have to get a half slab of ribs (caked in sauce), bbq beans , mac n cheese , and homemade rootbeer . You can thank me later.

The chicken is unbelievably moist. BBQ sauce is one of the best I've ever had. Not too sweet.

Joe's Real BBQ is a very unique experience. I love the food and the rustic restaurant in the heart of Gilbert's Heritage District.

Best barbecue place in Gilbert. The sausage is amazing, and the different sauces rock too. Gives a real old fashion vibe.

You can't go wrong with the sampler plate . The corn is my favorite side: very sweet and buttery. Wash down with homemade rootbeer . Kids will like the old-fashioned candy and the old tractor inside.

The pulled pork sandwich was solid. The massive piece of cornbread with butter that I can only assume is derived from crack was a game changer.
