Favorite neighborhood grocery store . As long as you stick to your basics, it's really quite affordable . Just don't go crazy with specialty stuff.
I have picked up some nice quick recipes and tasty wines because I got to try them at the store. Their greeting card selection is a pleasant surprise, too.
90 minutes of parking is free in the garage with validation so you don't have to worry about street parking .
Don't forget to validate your parking ticket!
Parking is free up to 30 minutes. Recommended shopping list: wine , frozen Indian entrees, chocolate covered anything.
Wow really great selection and not too crowded !
This Trader Joe's is in a modern office building that takes up a full block between Washington and St. Asaph streets.
The pay lot is free and there are two free lots on the upper level too.
The door to get in is actually in the parking garage . Walk in and the door is on the left.
I never buy my citrus fruit (lemons for my iced tea , limes for my guac ) anywhere else! Super cheap here!
Try the mystery beer - a brown paper bag-covered 6-pack with randomly selected brews.
Good tortillas are hard to find in the DMV-Trader Jose's Handmade Tortillas remind me of the good stuff I find back home in AZ
Stop by the sample corner to try out the store's newest items!
Great store! Free covered garage parking . Friendly staff !
As of Feb. 2014, there are now two more cash registers for a total of 10!
It's like a new store every time you walk in. Because they can't stop rearranging where everything is.
The Five Layer Mexican Dip with organic corn chip dippers are the best.
I hate having to go into a pay lot just to go shopping, but that's life in the big city . And at least it is free.
much cheaper than whole foods. the cheese selection and wine are out of control!
If you bag your own groceries , they give you a sticker.
Helpful, friendly staff and free parking !
Parking here is kind of a pain in the ass but the store is pretty nice.
Long lines on Sunday evenings... Great otherwise!
You can actually get a decent bottle of wine for under $5 here. INCREDIBLE.
I'm fairly certain that the flowers here are less expensive than other stores.
Note to self...don't come here the day after they are closed for a holiday! There is hardly anything on the shelves!! Maybe they will learn for next time?!?
Looking for a good (cheap ) wine ? Ask Bev, the wine department manager -- her tips are great.
They rearranged everything again.
Banana bread mix is awesome!
Whatever you do, DON'T lose your parking stub...it'll cost you $12! (even if you were there for 10 mins to shop at TJ's)

Get the hot and spicy dried kale (tucked away with dried fruit). Yumminess. - Kinnari
Old place in the area to get Caldo Verde aka Portuguese Kale soup or Kale and chorizo soup. It's super delicious. They only make it like once a week. So if they have it get, you'll love it. - Emmanuel Marques
Really good selection and layout. Never super crowded either. Bathrooms have the fancy toilet paper ???? ???? - Char
Really good Target, very clean and organized as well. Probably one of the nicer Targets in the area. - Char
I usually get the strawberry Acai refresher with lemonade instead of water. ????????????. It's my favorite drink ever. (Besides caramel frappuccinos with extra caramel). - Savannah Hill
