Even if the pizza was no good, it'd still be worth a visit for the fantastic old-school decor—straight from a Scorcese movie . Luckily, the pizza's great, so dinner here is a must-do if you're nearby.

One of the great pizza spots in Brooklyn. Some of the best veal I've ever had, thick cut and magnificently cooked. Don't be fooled by the plastic table cloths , this place is a classic and phenomenal.

It's like eating in grandma's basement on Sundays, complete with the grouchy waiters . I love this place! Just don't expect to ever finish off a pizza on your own.

The baked clams , pizza and steak pizziola are all solid.

Pizza and pasta are good, but you can find their equal at other places in Bklyn. You cannot find gnocchi like this anywhere, though. Handmade . Pillowy. This is something special.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Pizza is meh - too thick cheese and not very flavorful. Love that it's an old school spot but not worth the calories!

The brick oven pizza is the best in Carroll Gardens . I've been coming here for 28 years!
