Superb, there are always activities, restaurants with local food. Ideal for walking and learning botany.

The gardens are great, the glasshouse is great for kids and the events are very tasteful.

Visit the forested areas furthest from the entrance to get away from the crowds.

The jacket potato 's are great, as are the salads . Great place, whether rain, snow or sunshine.

The gardens are superb no matter what the season.

Get a family membership - saves loads when you have a family and come more than once a year
