Food is not gourmet, but it is reasonable. $4.75 cheeseburger , beer for $2.75. You can always bring a cooler or get a hand stamp and step out of the park for lunch .

There has been recent news that people who live on the river are dumping their sewage in this beautiful place. I go here frequently and did notice the waters not being as clear as recent years.

Its fun to see the Mermaids and take the riverboat ride, but there's not much else to do at the park . The water is chilly (74 degrees) and can get crowded in the afternoon on the buccaneer bay side.

Kayaking down the river is a great way to spend a summer day! Renting is $35 and it's only $5 if you have your own kayak . Just head to the Southwest corner of the parking lot to find the boat ramp.

Check the weather in the summer. They cancel the mermaids and close park admission if there are thunderstorms in the area.

Peacocks !! Not great on cloudy days. And there's not really much here, but then again... It's probably the hotspot in the area.

At a depth of 407 feet, Weeki Wachee is the deepest naturally formed spring the United States . Cave divers have explored over 7,000 feet.

Great family trip! Water is ice cold but it's great!

Don't miss the boat ride through cypress swamps past a giant bald eagle nest.

The mermaid show is classic but strap and tank and dive to the depths of the Spring and feel the rush of water!!

Mermaid show was fine, the park is very tranquil. Sand super soft. Pricey when waterpark is not open.

A ripoff! Park is old and most of it was closed. In desperate need of a makeover. Mermaid show was extremely bad and lasted only 10 minutes. A waste of your time and money and there are no refunds!
