I didn't want to like this place. But get beyond the trendy pretensions and its a pretty good spot for lunch and a drink. Solid, basic menu. Pies are good!

Exceptional cheeseburger - juicy, flavourful, with a big chunk of tasty cheese . Comes with delicious fried potatoes . Real tater tots . Slow cooked lamb leg was also very tender and flavourful.

One of if not the best place for a 'pub ' lunch in Clerkenwell area. Responsibly price and good quality homely food.

Booked online. Never received a confirmation of the booking . When I rang to chase I was told that they would look into it. ..and they then hung up... Needless to say that we never went.....

Basement larks. Service can be slow if there are too many cocktail Mary's ahead of you. Otherwise worth a drop in.
