Favorite spot. Great hike in the summer. Wear shoes with great grips as coming down the bluff can be slippery. Don't recommend bluff hike while raining or when wet. 500ft quartzite cliffs. Great beach
Great for a day trip out a week long camping trip . If you want to camp, make your reservations well in advance. This great park books up fast.
Good place for all out door activities with family!!picnic camping hiking and swimming in lake . No network cellphones doesn't work so decide where you want to meet if going in big groups !!

Bring your swimsuit, hiking shoes , and a picnic backpack and you'll be all set for a day of fun and adventures! This is now one of our favorite family getaways.
Best state park in Wisconsin. Beautiful trails around the lake and high up on the bluffs.
Must visit in the fall and hike the bluffs. Great views and trails . Lots of out of town visitors so bring your patience.
Awesome place in the state , especially for swimming . I recommend swimming off of the rocks though. Much funner. But be safe!
If this one isn't on your list of muse-see's, it should be. Bring/rent a kayak , and if you have kids, they will love the beach area !
Excellent for winter camping . Hike around the lake . Hike all the connecting ice-age trails . Parfrey 's Glenn http://www.devilslakewisconsin.com/information-center/other-natural-areas/parfreys-glen/
Use fun views to motivate you up East Bluff and enjoy a mostly steady decline down East Bluff Woods Trail .
Great place to hike swim and get married! Our wedding kari have been windy, but it was so unbelievably beautiful!
Great lake to swim in, but the beach is more rock than sand. Watershoes recommended.
One of my favorite places to hike and camp. Absolutely amazing in October - the leaves are gorgeous.
Don't rely on cell phones for communication in your group. Cell phone dead zone (unless you are on top of the bluffs).
Head to Jumping Rock on the West Bluff trail along the lake . It's through the second set of trees on the path. It's really fun.
This place is like a hikers paradise. Awesome views !

Take a hike or climb rocks in the only place in the Midwest that feels like the mountains .
Ask around for rock 8!!! Also a perfect sunset spot... It's a formed "rock sofa " on the crest of the south west bluff .

Love all the different hiking trails !
Don't plan on staying overnight. The rooms are straight out of the 80s and haven't been cleaned since then. Don't bother with lessons as most of the staff is unprofessional or sleeping on the job.
West bluff hiking trail has beautiful views ...
