Inks Lake State Park is a state or provincial park Burnet located in United States.
3630 Park Road 4 W Burnet , TX 78611 United States
The cove that leads to Devils Waterhole is great for exploring & swimming . Lake is spring fed, so water stays cool and level remains consistent. Scenic hiking . Backcountry and car camping .
Be sure to have floats and water shoes for Devils Waterhole . And I would avoid swimming in the other "swim area" ..we had a few baby leeches on our legs.
Some of the prettiest hikes near Austin. Great in any season, but spectacular when the wildflowers are blooming!
Lake is nice. There is a part on the other side where you can rent boats etc
If you have a kayak .. Best time to go is in the morning!!
This park is beautiful...if you have kayaks get a campsite that is right by the water for easy access ...
Love it here! Everyone needs to come here at least once in there life. We come here all the time! :-)
Try Inks Lake RV Park , Inc. at 512-756-0101 for a much quieter and peaceful stay. Four miles east of the state park directly on Hwy 29. Look for the big red barn.
Awesome but crowded . Great sites. Devils water hole was great. Will be back!
Don't pick up sticks from the ground for firewood! $500 fine.
