Yes, the decor is trying too hard but don't let it turn you off. Espresso was surprisingly smooth & lovely. Staff encourages you to select your own beans, offering on target taste suggestions.
This is a decent coffee spot . I would come here for an espresso and not much else. Quite cozy with an outdoor area .
Come here only for coffee . We ordered food, they forgot half of the order, only had half of the things on the menu and it came after an hour. (Check reviews, wechat: shanghai_hunter and facebook)
