The Curried Chicken Thighs make my life ❤️???? They serve you a surprise biscuit + blueberry jam before the meal which is AMAZE???? The SC-brewed Tupelo Honey Rye Ale goes well with everything ????
Delicious. The homemade blueberry preserves and the honey on the biscuits was so good. The curried chicken with apple salsa and the sesame seed asparagus is a must try. Also the wontons are amazing.
The fried green tomatoes were interesting! Sweet potato pancakes with fried chicken is worth a try. I also liked the avocado toast with poached eggs . Their honey is so good too
Candy was a great waitress who provided wonderful suggestions on what to eat. My cousin had the southwestern omelette full of avocado . My chicken and sweet potato pancakes were perfect.
The Benedicts are out of this world! “Fit To Be Tied, Pickled and Fried” is a great twist on the classic
You MUST get the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken ! It’s is simply amazing! Also the Mac n Cheese is yummy!
Apple cider pork belly hash was pretty good (very succulent pork ). Sweet potato pancakes were great (though I prefer Busboys and Poets' version more).
The fried cauliflower tacos are quite possibly the greatest appetizer I've ever had. Ordered one to try and immediately ordered four more. Incredible.
The Bitches say: A. We loved everything from the southern vibes, to the massive drinks, and the delicious and comforting food . Read more
there's no real BAD choice here. do get the mega mimosa , a portion of all sales go to charity .
Excellent service !! Ryan and Lauren were both very hospitable . Nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, everything well seasoned
Really good food. A bit pricey for a casual lunch , but a nice choice for dinner . The biscuits and honey are wonderful.
Food taste 8/10Service 9/10Seating area 7/10Portions 10/10 Not a typical menu .. specially the breakfast Highly recommended ????????
Wasn’t going to get the chicken , but I walked by someone who did and I changed my mind. So glad I got it!! ????
Southern food - chicken , biscuits , and honey . Service is a bit slow, but good food and large beer selection
Brunch is so good. The Shoo Mercy Griddle is next level!
Great soul food in a soulless conference town . Get the fried chicken !
Great brunch menu . Try the sweet potato pancakes or one of the amazing omelettes !
So many delicious sounding things on the brunch menu ! Tried the Shakshuka and it was great.
A-'amazing. The biscuits are worth breaking your diet for. Eleanor Rooselvelt cocktail was amazing.
The fried chicken breast and Mac and cheese are amazing.
Everything we had was delish. Good service too.
The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. The mac&cheese is a must
Old Skool Breakfast bowl is surprisingly filling!
Simply delicious. You must try the chicken and sweet potato pancakes .
red flannel hash , smocked sockeye salmon grit cake
Shrimp and grits (especially SHOO style) are best I've ever had
Another trendy place with too many ales and limited other selections. Shrimp & grits is a filling, heavy meal.
Get your act together. No wine because you are changing over the menu? What?!?! Train your people to know the offerings and get you the right check. Good luck!
Fried chicken BLT was extremely good.
Drinks are tasty, but the food not so much. We gave it two tries and on both visits, came out with the same feeling
Fried chicken and biscuits ! Son of a Peach Beer !
Love the fried chicken and sweet tea
Fried chicken and sweet potato pancake with pecan butter.
Fried Chicken was delicious!
Those chicken and biscuits are really good but phew are they heavy.
They changed the mac and cheese and it isn't as good as it used to be :(
The country ham wontons are amazing.
Would like to try it out sometime By The Way
The biscuits , fried chicken , meatloaf
Fried chicken and craft beer selection
What's good here? Definitely not the collards #
The fried chicken . Always.
Late night brunch was a cool concept; food was not quite Southern fare
Sangria is the best ????
Mac and Cheese / fried chicken BLT
Shrimp and grits was salty and flat. Highly disappointing
Feels like a too chain-y southern food joint.
Get something with the grits
Poor service, and I didn't think the food was exceptional... they forgot my order three times and the food came out cold, then they argued with me about the bill!
Great place for some exellent cocktails or a nice glass of wine. The small plates are great to snack on at the bar and the dining room ambience is great for date night. Great DC feel in Clarendon.. - James Hohman
Great brunch. French press coffee is great and much better quality menu than the average brunch. - Esther Scott
Amazing food. Can’t go wrong with choosing anything on the menu. - Pietro McCabe
Always sold out so plan ahead. But has comfy reclining seats that make it worth it. - Kris Yee
