On the small side, but good variety of animals. They take good care of them here and the animals seem happy. Giraffe feeding is fun. The otters are always out playing, they're my favorite part!
All kinds of animals.... Kids loved it.... Family year passes 2 adults 4 kids 80 bucks additional kids 8 each....
Animals at Reid Park Zoo tend to be most active-and the crowds smallest-in the morning & shortly before closing. While here don’t miss a camel ride or giraffe encounter for the ultimate meet-and-greet
Everything! I was there even when it was really hot (110) and most of the animals were still very active! When it was too hot for me I went to the learning center and enjoyed the animals there
Definitely go first thing in the morning because the animals are out and more playful. Its a great place to go for play dates and to get the kids outside. You can go through it fast or take your tim
I love the giraffes , always have and still want to feed one (it’s on the bucket list). Lot’s of friendly folk to talk to and great place to just stroll and observe that animal behavior.
Smaller zoo , but nicely done and a perfect rainy day activity in Tucson. The elephants are a lot of fun.
Make sure to feed the giraffes ! The meerkats are cute . The aviary is cool too. And of course, ride on the carousel.
The zoo is always a hit with children. Thanks to the new Elephant expansion, the zoo feel bigger. There are a lot more hands-on activities for children.
Did you know? The Zoo was founded in 1965 with a collection of birds, prairie dogs, farm animals, and a few squirrel monkeys. Today it is home to hundreds of exotic animals from several continents.
Nice little city zoo . A childhood favorite. They have a train (tram ) outside the entrance that runs through the park and a water play feature inside the zoo . Polar bears are my favorite.
The elephant exhibit is impressive. Check out the live elephant cam: http://reidparkzoo.org/cameras/elephant-cam/
The animals are wonderful. Feeding giraffes is cool. Elephants are awesome. Food at the Zoofari Market is very kid-centric (at best).

Check out the Jaguars ! They are absolutely amazing :) Also if you happen to stop by at the right time, make sure to feed the giraffes !
They usually feed the giraffes around 10am. That's my kids' favorite part! The mini splash pad is load of fun during hot summer days!
It was during the heat wave so the park closed early, but it was small enough for us to see all the animals that were out in about 2 hours.
Lots of great memories here glad they are making it bigger
Awesome lay out! New areas for some of the residents!
Go early in the morning, when they first open! Animals are a lot funner to be around when it's cooler! Feed the giraffes at 10 am! Read more
A chilly night to enjoy lights at the zoo . #weoutchea
$1 hot dogs , soda & chips in jaguar junction cafe !
What a fun time
Become a member it save so much money and you get member only events .
Huge elephant area
They have a great little splash pad for the kids don't forget the water shoes though it gets slippery when wet!
Fun during the day but do not trust events . Went to Family Fun Night. Advertised crafts - got paper and crayons. Games was $3.00 kids toy . Advertised a movie that never happened. This was a scam.
Great place to have a wedding.
Close at noon today. Thanks for the heads up on the website. -_-
Not that great but good place to spend an afternoon
Get here early to see the new lion cubs.
Fall the best time to be here
Not impressed with ZooLights Event . They closed off half the zoo . I came here for Photo opportunities . If you have kids I imagine this would be much more eventful .
Awesome zoo with adorable jaguars , otters, and crazy polar bear .
What? The giraffe & polar bear are dead, the monkey is diabetic ?
Good Zoo to visit when it is not 110 degrees out.
Gotta take the kiddo.
Nicely done section of the zoo - eric bornemann
Beautiful park. Lots of walking, a great pond with a waterfall, and a good playground. - Ed Eubanks
Don't park near the north end by the hill. People will try to break into your car and then go running back to their neighborhood. Park as close to the fields and lights as you're able. - Stacy Bolyard
STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE IS THE BOMB!!! My favorite burger place!!!! Fries are nice a crunchy cX - Julia Mount
