Super fun music and great vibe. Drinks are pretty good too. Thu night was a blast.
My favorite place in the city , most original. Atmosphere is laid back , no wannabe crowd. I first went here at age 22 and now 29, still my fav. Service is great, LIVE piano and fantastic drinks. A+++
Step back in time and sing along with the talented musician (s). Drinks are good though when it's packed, service a bit slow. Get there early and sing like no one is watching. Cheers!
A great bar with great entertainment! A must visit for a good long night of fun with classy people.
I come here every time I am in Chicago hoping and praying that the waitresses will be a little nicer...but again that has not happened...great piano but the waitresses are just mean and hateful
Love the live music . Be careful to wear the proper apparel aka closed toed shoes . Coworker go turned away in the summer
Service is outstanding. Great piano bar with a low key setting. Staff is very friendly !
Classic Chicago piano bar ! What's not to love? :)
Get here early. This is a classy place ; business casual is the attire, coat check is mandatory. Definitely a place to come to and come back again
The Redhead is Chicago’s Premier Piano Bar , playing live music 7 nights a week. Extensive cocktail selection in a comfortable yet fun atmosphere .
Old school feel. Fun, no cover, great bartenders and high energy .
Eric AKA "Big Pimpin" the bartender will hook it up. Tuesday nights all the musicians from local places come here after their sets. Where else can you get that?!
Sent away for wearing tennis shoes , but after changing shoes and returning I saw several people with tennis shoes or sandals inside.
Low key spot with live piano music . Usually atracts a middle aged group.
Music is good but if you are looking for a Cigar Bar go home... The patio is sad and it is an insult for a cigar smoker.
This is the best place in the city for suburban substitute teachers to go to cheat on their spouses.
Used to love this place until I was banned for something I didn't even say. Regardless, it's fun. Just don't become a regular!
If you are looking for your sugar daddy you could probably fine them here. It's a an old man sausage fest
Don't wear shitty clothes or flippy-flops and you'll be fine. See if Mercy (as in Lord Have) can be your server. She's the best.
The wannabe Goodfellas working the door will make you wear rental shoes of they feel your attire isn't up to their Men's Wearhouse standards.
Don't dress like a prostitute and you won't be mistaken for one :)
Save money buy a bottle, terrific staff and music
Tom and Lisa are the absolute best! Check them out on Monday and Thursday nights.
Good light music , comfortable seating and a good crowd. Skus older with plenty of cougars and older yuppies.
Dress is business casual . Nice older crowd
The party goes on!!!
Order rumchata on ice... It's Christmas in a bottle I tell youuu!
Tom and Lisa on monday and Thursday are the best!!!!
$10 of $30 or more with Drink Deck
Don't bother with this place. The staff is rude, they very inconsistently will enforce the dress code when the doorman decides he's on a power trip. Go to howl at the moon instead.
Don't wear gym shoes or they won't let you in.
Great bar , if you're over 50! Seriously if you are 35 or under stay far far away.
Apparently in some cities , *straight* people go to piano bars . Who knew?
Try the Cougartini.
Drunken singing and piano playing - simple as.
Yelp was right, AARP crowd.
Lita is a dancing queen. Fun time but much older crowd.
Always fab!
Don't come with an empty tummy - they only serve nuts . But the music , drinks and singing more than make up for it!
Art the manager rips off customers. Took and ran our credit card three times. Good thing we live close!
Definitely an older crowd. 35yrs+
Fire crotch central. Who cares about the piano.
Stew ROCKS!
Don't forget about the dress code !
Great place for after dinner drinks. Wonderful atmosphere.
Lots of Martinis . Mmmm....Good:)
This place rocks!! Check their website for special events . Read more
Don't wear flip-flops! They'll make you wear loaner shoes .
Nothing is good here. The management are full of themselves. Their cost check policy is absurd and 90% sure they have racist profiling at the door.
Money to spend and can't get in due to a dress code ! Dumb!!
Great place to go with a group! Such a fun time! Get the drink that comes in a bucket! - Emily Brune
Great drinks, excellent service, karaoke like none other, cabaret shows. - Jaye Jalso
Everything I had was amazing; Prosciutto wrapped dates, veal meatball slider, carpaccio, bolognese. - Taylor Long
Perfect for a family parking spot. Centrally located to many points, clean bathrooms, good changing location for the young ones and plenty of table space to feed the kids. Wagons are welcome! - Thomas Tomchak
Great burger, better fries, and outstanding chocolate cake. Trust me on the cake. - Manbque
