Was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed visiting Catedral de Sevilla. Would definitely recommend getting the audio guide . There are few informational signs otherwise and you'll miss a lot.

Catedral de Sevilla is home to the world's largest alter piece - all gold and absolutely magnificent. Also had many other interesting features, including a thorn said to be from Christ's crown.

The view of Sevilla from the Giraldo tower is beautiful, but be warned that it is a 34 flight climb. Also loved seeing the world's second largest pearl in the "Tesoro" room.

The "Tesoro" (treasure) room was my favorite, with all sorts of gems, crowns, and other sparkling treasures. Home to the second largest pearl in the world!

Scarily large. The walk to the top of the tower is 36 inclines. Was so funny watching people going up on my way down

If you need one, use the bathroom in the orange grove, it's built into the crypts of the cathedral .

Breathtaking... Wait line for the entrance was long. It seems there's certain time they let you into the cathedral .

I think Sunday is not ideal to enjoy this magnificent building fully cos there's simply too many visitors. And it's only early April.

Although I ve seen lots of cathedrals , this one is worth visiting
