Classic old pub / restaurant with cheerful 1950-60s music (hence the clientele) good vibe and friendly staff . Weather permitting there are a few seats outside , free wifi (pass oysters123)
Nice restaurant , nice staff and amazing food! Very good mussels , delicious fish pie and very big portions !
The fish of the day (sea trout in my case) was delightfully good.
Best attraction at this excellent bar/restaurant is when Rosie Nimo and Stuart Aladice play on a Thursday night
Baked oysters are exceptional.... Langoustine soup was great as well .

you have to try their Irish Coffee ... best served on a Sunday morning while enjoying some live jazz . attentive and knowledgable staff , ask them what's good on the menu as the food here is A++

must check out their acoustic music sessions in full. always tend to leave this place as an after-thought but its probably the best bar in Leith.

Fish soup ( Cullen skink) very good so are fish cakes, all fish dishes are of high quality. Like the cold fish platter with a bottle of nice cd white wine. - Sandro Sarti
