Welcome to Naziland. It's clean , fast & efficient but you'll do more jail time than Schabir Shaik for drinking water or chewing gum or laughing out loud .

Make sure your flight lands by 8pm or you will miss the last train ! Hot tip is to catch free bus to Rhodesfield station, then train from there. The last bit to & from airport is the expensive part.

Don't take a taxi .. The traffic during rush hour is horrendous. Get the Gautrain and get your hotel organise pick up.

Convenient train into Sandton - you can hire a car there to avoid the heavy Johannesburg traffic. Make sure you have the right amounts loaded on your card.

You would be dumber than a box of hammers, not to use the service to the airport . Bloody marvelous, it would be cool if we could have a 24h service 9:30pm close time means a taxi trip not safe

Gautrain Park Station is now open. Change trains at Sandton station. Train to Park st departs from platform B. 15min from Ortia to Sandton . 8min from Sandton to Park .

The Gold card will cost you 12Rand and it is not refundable. The train service is good and security is tight you will feel safe using the train service. The only problem is the price is too expensive .

Marlboro Station is now part of the Gautrain Airport service . Allowing passengers to embark or disembark on their journey to and from OR Tambo International Airport .

Welcome to the Gautrain. Service between ORTIA station and all other Gautrain stations (except Park station) are now operational.

Super efficient. Worth every cent.

During weekends the train stops are at a 30 minute interval...but be sure to be there before the o'clock.

There are now early and late trains mon to fri

R 100 for short trip makes it very expensive comparing to many world airport links.Also frequency, every 30 min, and time schedule, last one at 20:30, makes it vey inconvinient or even useless.

Airport passengers may embark or disembark at Marlboro as well as Sandton stations.

The service runs at 20 min intervals during peak times and starts from 05:30 in the morning. Last train runs at 20:30

Avoid using the toilets here, especially if u late. The train always leaves me behind within those 10secs of me going to tinkle... LOL

Hughely overpriced. Renting a car is cheaper!

From OR Tambo to Sandton = R100 but park @ Rhodesfield and pay R26 to Sandton

The Arlanda Express in Sweden was R200-odd when I was last there a few years ago. R100 isn't so bad for an airport service .
