Mercure Budapest City Center Hotel

We just arrived and our bathroom floor is filled with hair and the carpet is covered in stains. We can even feel the metal springs from the mattress. Clean , Really? Breakfast better be good.

We arrived at 15hcheck-in is at 14h and what a surprise our room was not ready!So our room was only available at 16h! The reception didn’t know what to do!The location is on the other side good!!

The hotel 's location takes you right in the middle of various shops, restaurants and bars .

Vaci u. main tourist drag in Budapest. You won't hear much Hungarian spoken on the street. Clean and convenient hotel - bar is ridiculously overpriced. Free wifi .

Location is very good. But interior is old and some rooms are very small. Well I think you can find a better deal with the same budget in the city centre.

Free wifi , breakfast is mandatory, right in the middle of shops, money changers, bars and restos.

Never ever book this hotel if your planning to come by car and you have to trust sat nav navigation. Impossible to reach with coordinates they provide. Standing somewhere at the street now.

Spoke of poor conditions and now we have a coffee maker and a much better room. The beds are not poking us with springs and the floor is decent.

Able to move from our previous horrible room to a much better but, still very small room. Have to give them their props for finding a better space for us.
