Opened in 2009, Citi Field is the only Major League ballpark to feature orange foul poles instead of the standard yellow. The home of the Mets was named host of the 2013 All-Star Game.

Once buy a cheap ticket or standing room only seats. Walk around the stadium and enjoy the various food venues and bars . View the game from different viewing areas. It really is a great stadium .

When it opened, Citi was a wasteland for home runs. Not anymore. After the park produced the third-fewest homers in the NL in 2011, Mets officials reduced the in-play surface area by 2% in 2012.

The best ballpark in all of baseball . Every seat is great and you can still watch the game as you walk around to get food or go to the bathroom .

Best ball park in New York! A lot of food options, the seats are spacious and an awesome baseball environment. Not a Met experience without meeting Mr. Met himself. Lets Go Mets 2015!!!

Try the special hotdogs and fries at the Frites place across from Shake Shack! So much better than a generic Shake Shack burger !

Great park . Better experience in lower levels. A lot of kid friendly stuff on main level. Mets museum is a must see along with Jackie Robinson rotunda.

$6 for a single scoop of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to satisfy your sweet tooth. Get there real early as the lines are 30 min or more and out the door of the Promenade Club for the the whole game.

There's so many wonderful food options all around the ballpark + mostly all seats have decent view of the field ... even tho the team sucks!!! BTW, uber/lyft/taxis are outside bullpen gate

Everything is great easy to find great staff easy to get to your seat and food awesome. Tourist REMEMBER photo if ( Dr. Licence) if you want beer (even if 50 or 70 years old ???? No ID NO BEER ????????????

Do yourselves a favor and walk to the right field corner grab some bacon on a stick. Thick cut and smothered with honey . You will almost forget the mets have been under .500 for a decade. Lets Go Mets

Out in centerfield, the brand new Pat LaFreida filet mignon stand hero with mozzarella & carmelized onions is the greatest thing you'll ever eat at any ballpark ...and I've eaten a lot at ballparks ;)

Also known as MurphyField. Lots of good seats with many clubs and nooks all around, huge variety of good food. Biggest problem is the ownership. Cheap and stupid makes this a painful team to root for.

Home of the NY Mets. Great baseball field with a 360 view of the field . Home of Shake Shack and Frites . Its also one of the kid friendly baseball stadiums .

What's not to love here. The food is fantastic (typical stadium pricing), and the beer selection is awesome. You have to check out center field , and even behind home plate in the 400 level. #LGM

Mets games rarely sell out, for the best seats wait until day-of and get them on stubhub. Tickets are priced to drop automatically the closer to game time. First ten rows can go for ~$65.

Home to one of the most consistently disappointing professional sports teams in the country . Great food though!

The stadium is fantastic. From the clear views from almost anywhere in the stadium to Shake Shack in center field , this stadium has made it easier to make Shea a memory.

Get a lemonade on Field Level on the third base side or in the Promenade by section 420. They're incredible.

Great Stadium for the fan. Great food and the clubs really bring it home. Wander the ball park and find all it's interesting food and concessions stands. Home of the 2013 All Star game. See ya there.

While everyone makes a beeline for Shake Shack, outsmart the crowd and head to Box Frites . They’ll serve you faster than a Doc Gooden heater, and you’ll have a smorgasbord of dipping sauces . Amazin’!

Great food options! And the atmosphere is electric. Facilities are well maintained, lots of vantage points to watch the game from different angles.

Excellent choices for food, excellent sidelines from every scene. A great experience for watching a baseball game.

Anything is better than Shea Stadium . This park way underrated. Will rise to level of love and respect when Mets start winning. A lot more fun so far this year.

If it is your first time, you have to enter through the Jackie Robinson Promenade. It's an incredible sight to behold. After, be sure to hit up one of the great craft beer stands.

One of the most kid friendly and beautifully designed parks in all of baseball . The Jackie Robinson Rotunda, Shea Bridge , Pepsi Porch , Shake Shack and Home Run Apple make this place one-of-a-kind

Fun stadium - very easy to get around. They also have a McFaddens next door too!

It's a nice place to visit but no place to watch good baseball . Loaded with really good food options if you care to stage in line and miss the entire game.

There is not a bad seat in this stadium . I love it. I always sit in premium seats and I am never disappointed. Shake Shack delivered to my seat? Yes, please!

Great place to experience a baseball game. The product on the field may not be the best, but the atmosphere is great, food and drink choices are very good. Walk around and soak it all in.

If you're debating going to a concert here, just go. The staff is great and highly organized ! And for you front row people- the security staff are competent and friendly !

$11 tickets with a student ID. You're up in the nosebleeds, but the view really isn't that bad (and you easily spot all the homers)! Fun, cheap night out with friends.

Visit the outfield Shake Shack (take note of the skyline from the old Mets scoreboard on top of it), but if the lines are too long, go to El Verano Taqueria across from it. Very decent ballpark tacos .

Make sure you head out to straightaway center-field. When you're out there, you'll discover great activities for kids (whiffle-ball, video games ) and food for the family (Shake Shack, Nathan's).

Look for signs to the express train back to Manhattan after special events . It will save you time and you might even get a seat!

It's also super clean (for a ball park ), which I love. Box Fries is my absolute favorite place for food.

Check the schedule to see who is pitching. If it says Matt Harvey, you will enjoy the game. If it says anyone else's name, bring 70 dollars for drinks.

McFaddens is a must pregame. Shake Shack or Blue Smoke is a must during the game. Also love the nachos and the taco in centerfield. Great ballpark with great views even from the upper deck.
