The shopping, restaurants , parks , etc. in this area are fantastic. Great atmosphere. The actual beach I hate. Crushed coral for sand is too rough. Water isn't clear like the rest of the Florida coast

Quiet walk on the boardwalk with mild ocean waves and warm wind blowing. Pleasant music as you walk the 2.5 miles. Cheap drink and food options abound. Down to earth fun. Enjoy! Come early for parking

Grew up on Miami Beach , I love taking the family here... parking is a pain, but once you find a place, you can go to the beach and then hit the boardwalk

Rent a luxury cabana from the Boucher Brothers. You can rent umbrellas for $20 each and cabanas for about $50.

Best beach in Florida IMO. I go twice a week during the summer and my favorite place to eat is at Pachamama Peruvian Restaurant . Get the Roasted Chicken combo!

IMHO, best beach in SoFL! Venice Beach is it's mom, & the baby-dad is either the Caribbean or Latin America, while Canada(talk show host) finds out who the dad is. Europe tapes it, & the US watches it

Gorgeous broad walk with bike lanes. Lots of great little gems and dives for your dining pleasure. Parking can be a challenge at times.

Great for riding your bike . They have a bike lane on the broad walk , but there are a lot of people that walk and stand in this lane. It's a nice ride, but get a horn/bell. Read more

Great Beach but the wind were high so there were small Jelly Fish and lots of Seaweed !. Watch your step!

Best Beach on Florida's East Coast. One of the few remanining true 'Boardwalks '. I met my Wife on the sand on Roosevelt St back in 1984 :)

You can take traffic and crowds of FLL or SOBE . I'll be hanging here while you're still sitting in traffic or looking for parking .
