If you want german food , this is an excellent example of an authentic German restaurant and a local favorite. The food was real German and the apple wine is a local favorite.

Goulash is really good. So is the Apple wine . English menu is available. I really like the authentic traditional atmosphere too. Come here for something German.

The "Painted House" is located in the Sachsenhausen area. As its name says, every wall has a painting on it, which creates a very nice atmosphere.

Traditional and good. Personally I found only two dishes that I would have tried for the beginning but I‘m glad that I went there after 3,5 years in Frankfurt.

The Frankfurt Mixed Specialities are bigger than what the staffs describe - you need to be REALLY hungry to finish that and there will be absolutely no space for starter/dessert.

Try the Rindersolber. One of my favorites besides the Frankfurter Schnitzel :)

Der hausgemachte Apfelwein, sowie der "Süße" und die Rippchen sind grandios! Dazu autenthische und nette Bedienung. Insgesamt ein perfekter Restaurantbesuch

Típico restaurante q puedes probar todos los platos típicos alemanes. No puedo ser crítico porque no soy alemán. Buenísimas las variedades de salchichas

Die gepökelte Rinderschulter ist ein "must try". Außerdem lohnt sich der Besuch schon aufgrund der speziellen Bedienung.

solange es ihn gibt: unbedingt Süßen (frisch gekelterten Apfelsaft) nehmen, oder eine Flasche mitnehmen: 1,60 € /l ★ am besten eigene leere Flasche(n) mitbringen. Muss in spätestens 1 1/2 Tagen weg !

da gibt's welche, die checken schon um 09:15 morgens ein (noch vor dem Textorbad), bevor auf ist * ganz besonders schlau sind die, weil: da gibt's besonders viel Platz :)) huhuuu

Nichts für Vegetarier . Gibt nur Wurst-/Fleischgerichte. Unfreundliches Personal. Nicht weiterzuempfehlen :(

Nettes, kleines Apfelweinlokal , sonst nichts weiter. Als Speisenlokal eher weniger zu empfehlen.
