King's Hawaiian Bakery & Restaurant

I always order their Hawaiian platter with a few of my favorite Hawaiian dishes then head on to their bakery for some dessert ! I always order Paradise Delight Cake for birthdays.

Be sure to preorder baked goods esp the almond and macadamia nut coffee cake since they have limited stock the day of. Delicious saimen and order with a side of huli huli chicken !

They only take reservations for wkdays, not wkends & holidays. All the pastries & food are delicious. My faves are combo plates, katsu , paradise & dobash cakes & anything w/chocolate & strawberries .

I love this place. You must try their paradise cake and tiramisu . I also love their Portuguese Bean Soup , potato mac salad , and chicken katsu curry .

If you’re visiting the area for the first time, you have to come have a Big Island Breakfast with Portuguese sausage . There’s a law.

They have arrows to stand 6 ft away, hand sanitizers & all wore masks & gloves. They offer a discount to essential workers &/or senior citizens.

Get the paradise cake , with it's three layers of guava , passion fruit and lime fruit glaze....ono!

Great place to eat. Pretty sure anything you ask for in the menu will be great, every piece of bread is a specialty here

Really great bakery . And if they have oxtail soup on their specials menu, you must try it. It's so good!

Noodles for the saimin were good. The dish is on the lighter side too, in comparison to other entrees.

Very good looking Hawaiian cafe . I had a pork sandwich that was very good. Beautiful aquarium in the restaurant .

Guava Cake , Pineapple Muffins , French Toast.....some of my faves. Pretty much everything i've had is delicious!

Pretty much everything is good. I love breakfast french toast ,the cakes ,muffins , etc are exellent!

Bakery faves: guava , paradise & choc dobash cakes , pumpkin muffins , almond custard croissant . everything in bakery is great though! luv the fried rice w/ Teri chicken . Rolls r fresh & best @ table!

Make sure you’re fully committed to Hawaiian food when you come here as that’s all the menu has.

Warm Hawaiian Sweet Rolls are brought to your table while you look at the menu. And the Mac Onion Rings are amazing.

Teryaki Chicken Bowl: the steamed rice is a must. The full size is more the enough.

They have the best chocolate cake - you have to try their Chocolate Dobash cake . It's not too sweet, it's just right.

The Moco Loco was awesome, and the warm King's Hawaiian rolls with butter was incredible.

I love the pulled pork sandwich , loco moco , and chicken katsu curry !

Skip the pre-prepared meat dishes (loco moco , sausage fried rice ) and stick with the grilled meats ... chicken , teriyaki beef , kalbi . Tastes so much better!

Good menu, reasonable price. The pork nachos app is killer. Don't forget to get some deserts to go.

Buy a couple loaves of the rainbow bread in the front. It's regular white bread ...but it's so fun to eat a sandwich on rainbow colored bread ! :)

The food is ok but the Paradise and Dobash cakes are amazing!

Try the Paradise Cake - Light sponge cake . Not too sweet with a whipped cream topping. Delicious!

Chicken Katsu is a must.

No Dole Whip. Fave: French toast , muffins ; Skip: crunch cake

Everyone loves the Paradise cake , but you also gotta try the Huapa cake ! Soooo good!!

Some pastries were old. Not tasty. Some were delicious. The bread is always good

The saimin and their breakfasts are delicious!

The best sweet dinner rolls on the planet. Rainbow Loaf looks cool but doesn't taste as good as their sweet dinner rolls .

Baked goods are delicious and unique.

Paradise cake is definitely the best dessert , light and airy!

Very few cakes can top the Paradise Cake . Buy the whole thing, you'll be glad you did.

The French toast with coconut syrup and porta sausage is delish!

Bakery is good..restaurant is like a Hawaiian Dennys in my opinion
